The Black Current

IMG_6701
In colour psychology, black is known to have a negative connotation. There's only a handful of people who consider black to be a positive, a driving energy. And I truly believe I am one of them. The colour black has always had a very calming and soothing effect on me, and that doesn't mean I have a dark personality or there's something freaky or twisted about me. Since this colour means a lot to me personally and is my favourite as well, this post is going to be centred around it. The entire look I've styled today is very flexible, things can be changed or added - theme can be replaced and something new can be created; The theme I've followed...

A Little Of This, A Little Of That..

Pink lace, krafted 1
Before I begin the post, I wanted to share something with you all; For quite some time, I've been feeling like my blog and my social media feeds have been mostly about collaborations and not my PERSONAL style. Even though getting a collaboration is amazing and a lot of fun, but, I feel like the real reason why I opened my blog is getting lost; I wanted to explore and show my creativity and experimentation in terms of fashion and style. And I've made a promise to myself that I'm going to divide my focus on both things equally and not just collaborations! So, in today's post, I'm just getting my feet wet, before diving right in! The special thing...

F . I . E . R . C . E . ft. Kanelle

IMG_8687
Recently, me and Kanelle partnered up for a fun and bold collaboration! Kanelle recently launched their BLUE-JEAN BABY collection of easy to wear separates with delicate hand detailing and darts in all forms. I received two products from them which were absolutely lovely and SUPER comfortable! The first product I got was a blue side open knit top which I paired up with a black caged bralette. I tucked the top in the classic blue skirt that has a small slit in the middle. To complete the look, I paired up the outfit with a pair of black patent boots and a plum toned lipstick. The bralette and the boots give such a fierce and bold vibe to the whole look! P.S -...

The Haldi Ceremony

IMG_0720
The time of the crazy wedding season is from Mid-November to Feburary end! I'm going to be creating wedding looks for all ceremonies starting from The Haldi Ceremony to The Mehendi-Sangeet to The Wedding Night in partnership with Krafted With Happiness! So, today I'm creating a look for The Haldi Day. To brief you a little about what the ceremony is about, The haldi ceremony is the one in which a paste of haldi is applied on the bride and the groom’s body before their wedding. This ceremony is held at both the bride and the groom’s place, on the morning of the wedding day. So, the main colours that are used are light yellows, light pinks, pastel blues, creams and whites...
