Change Is Exhilarating!

Hey guys!
Welcome back to my blog!

First off, I want to apologize for not being active here. It’s been 6 months since I posted something on my blog and there are some reasons for that.
One of them being that I was focusing creating more and more content on Instagram – trying to make it my main area of content creation and due to that my blog got sidelined.
Another being, that for the past couple of months I’ve been feeling quite demotivated and preoccupied with college assignments, as a result, things went a little south on the social media front.
But during April, I finally decided that I can’t keep doing this any longer. That I had to get the motivation and determination back to find new things, get back to blogging, explore more opportunities, otherwise I’m just going to remain stagnant.
I’m grateful for whatever I’ve received till now; All the love from you guys, the work and appreciation, and I wouldn’t dream of giving that up for anything or anyone.
This is something I built on my own, without anyone’s help. It’s my creation.
And I can’t let it sit aside and rot. I won’t.
There comes a point, where you have to decide if you want to push yourself till you reach your full potential or are you okay with being mediocre.
You know, I thought it was going to be hard, admitting this on a public platform, but turns out, it isn’t.

In the past couple of months, I drifted into mediocrity, yes.
But, that’s not the point here. The point is that I’m trying and I’m going to keep trying to get myself out of that mediocrity, to achieve greatness.
And I don’t intend on taking credit of realizing this.
The credit goes to one, and only one person; My boyfriend – Aditya.
MAJOR DISCLAIMER – Please don’t think this is some cheesy declaration of love or an extremely romantic gesture from me to him.
No, it isn’t. It’s just the truth.

You don’t know who or what is going to affect you and change your perspective about life but always remember: People who love you and want to see you achieve your dreams and become the best possible version of yourself will always be tough on you.
They will criticize you and point out where you’re going wrong and pull you away from your own actions.
You will want to push against that, you won’t like it, but it is for your benefit.
And I’m eternally grateful to have a person in my life who cares more about me achieving and dreaming, that sometimes even I don’t do for myself.
If you have someone like that in your life, appreciate them and listen to what they have to say.
Thank you for everything, Aditya.

Okay, I’m getting misty, so I’m going to move on to the good news now!
